Recently, I’ve noticed a steady increase in the memory usage of my Homey device. It started around February 18th, when the memory usage was approximately 210-230 MB. By yesterday, it had climbed to a peak of about 510-520 MB. While this increase hasn’t caused any noticeable performance issues yet, such as delays in switching lights, I’m still curious about the underlying reasons.
I updated the Sonos app to version 6.0.7 on February 18th and also uninstalled two other apps. As a test, I temporarily disabled the Sonos app, but this didn’t make a difference. I’ve also tried to correlate the memory usage with other apps, but without success.
I reached out to the Homey support team, but so far, the only suggestion was to try disabling the Sonos app, which didn’t help. I understand that troubleshooting often involves trial and error, but I’m hoping someone in the community might have encountered a similar issue or could offer some insights.
Has anyone else experienced a gradual increase in memory usage? Any ideas on what might be causing this? I’m eager to hear your thoughts and experiences!
