Hey everyone! I’m in the process of moving across the country and it’s been quite the journey managing my smart home setup. I wanted to share some tips and ask for advice since this is my first time doing something like this.
First off, I’m taking all my Zigbee devices with me, which should make the setup easier on the other end. However, I’m leaving behind my Inovelli fan controllers—I just don’t have the time or energy to remove them from the ceiling! I’m hoping this won’t cause too many issues down the line.
One thing I’m worried about is the limited ability to set up a full automation system in my new rental home. I’m curious if anyone has tips on how to adapt to such a situation. Maybe there are more plug-and-play solutions that don’t require extensive wiring or permissions from the landlord?
On a lighter note, I’m looking forward to testing out new features in my smart home setup once I get everything set up again. It’s both exciting and a bit overwhelming, but I’m determined to make it work!
