Hello everyone! 
I wanted to share my recent journey of migrating from SmartThings to Hubitat. For those who might not be aware, Samsung’s decision to deprecate Groovy support was a massive blow, akin to losing a trusted tool in your toolbox. It’s almost as shocking as if Microsoft suddenly removed Visual C++ from Windows—outrageous and unimaginable!
Despite the setbacks, I’m thrilled to be back in the automation game with Hubitat. The webCoRE integration has been a lifesaver, and my Reolink cameras are now seamlessly acting as motion sensors for my driveway and porch lights. It’s a small victory, but it means the world to me!
One thing I’m still mourning is missing out on the Hub Link integration. It’s a shame, but I’m slowly but surely phasing out Samsung products from my home. This transition has been a learning experience, and I’m grateful for the wealth of knowledge shared in this forum, especially when it comes to migrating Meross garage door triggers.
If anyone has tips or tricks for a smoother transition, I’d love to hear them!
