Dear @AqaraOfficial team,
I absolutely love the S1+ Panel and currently have seven of them installed throughout my house. That said, there is one important capability I am missing: the ability to use one of the six virtual buttons as an action in an automation, not just as a trigger.
What I would like to do is have an automation virtually “press” a button when a certain condition is met. For example, when the CO₂ level in a room rises, an automation should press a virtual button on the S1+. That button press would then be picked up by Home Assistant and used to start a decentralized ventilation unit.
I know this sounds a bit indirect, and the obvious question is why the CO₂ sensor does not control the fan directly. The reason is simple: unfortunately, I cannot integrate your air quality sensors into Home Assistant at all. So the virtual button on the S1+ would be the bridge between both worlds.
The idea in short:
CO₂ level rises → automation presses a virtual button on the S1+ → Home Assistant detects the button press → ventilation turns on.
Right now, this is not possible because the S1+ does not offer an action to “press” a virtual button via automation. That capability would unlock a lot of powerful use cases and make the S1+ even more valuable in advanced smart home setups.
Thanks for listening, and I really hope this is something you might consider adding.
