Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me figure out why my motion sensor automation isn’t working as expected. I’ve set up a system where the lights in my living room should turn on when the motion sensor detects movement, but it’s not happening consistently. Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn’t, which is pretty frustrating.I’ve got a setup with a motion sensor, a smart light bulb, and I’m using a popular smart home app to automate everything. The motion sensor is placed in the corner of the room, and the light bulb is on the ceiling. I’ve followed all the instructions to set up the automation, but it’s just not reliable. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:- I’ve checked the placement of the motion sensor to make sure it’s covering the entire room.- I’ve tested the sensor separately to ensure it’s detecting movement correctly.- I’ve reviewed the automation settings multiple times to make sure everything is configured properly.- I’ve even restarted the app and the devices to see if that helps.Despite all these efforts, the issue persists. It’s especially annoying when I come home in the evening and the lights don’t turn on automatically. I’m starting to think there might be something I’m missing or a setting I haven’t adjusted correctly.Has anyone else experienced similar issues with motion sensor automation? I’d love to hear your thoughts and any advice you might have. Maybe there’s a tweak I haven’t considered yet. Thanks in advance for your help!
