Hi everyone! I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my recent Govee setup, and I wanted to share my experience and ask for some advice. 
I recently purchased the Govee Glide Hexa Pro and decided to expand my home theater setup by adding some vibrant lighting. I’ve always loved the idea of creating an immersive movie-watching experience, and these lights have really helped me achieve that!
Here’s what I did:
- Hex Wall Setup: I added 3 sets of RGBIC strip lights to backlight some layered hexagon wall panels I found online. It’s such a cool effect—definitely adds to the movie theater vibe!
- Control Integration: I integrated everything through the Govee Studio app, using the Marquee option with a Rainbow color combination. It’s so easy to adjust the colors and brightness to match the mood of the movie.
- Custom Scenes: I’ve created different scenes for different genres—like a warm amber glow for romantic movies and a cool blue for action flicks. It’s been a lot of fun experimenting with different settings!
The results have been amazing! My family and friends have loved the setup, and it’s become the go-to spot for movie nights. However, I’m curious if there are any other creative ways to enhance the experience further. Do any of you have tips for adding more interactivity or automation to the setup? Maybe syncing the lights with the movie soundtrack or integrating with other smart home devices?
