I recently had the chance to set up the Multizone Media Controller using AppDaemon, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for my home automation setup! 
After some trial and error, I managed to configure it to work seamlessly with my Yamaha receiver and its zones. The ability to cycle through zones and control the volume collectively has made my living room experience much more enjoyable. 
One thing I found particularly helpful was adjusting the volume_increment setting to match my preferred volume changes. It’s all about finding that sweet spot for smooth transitions!
