Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent success integrating my MZC Musa pellet stove with Maestro technology into OpenHAB. After some research and experimentation, I managed to replicate all the functionalities of the official app directly within OpenHAB. This includes adjusting temperature setpoints, turning the stove on and off, and monitoring parameters like flue temperature.
I utilized a Python script to achieve this, which I found on GitHub. While it primarily functions via MQTT JSON messages, it was adaptable enough for my OpenHAB setup. I’d be delighted if this could help others looking to integrate their MZC pellet stoves into a smart home ecosystem.
