I’ve been really impressed with my Govee lights!
After months of waiting for the right update, I finally connected my garden lights using the Gledopto ZigBee RF Bridge USB. It’s been a game-changer! ![]()
Here’s how I set it up:
- The device connects as an unknown device initially, but it detects all the options for color selection, which is perfect for my RGBCCT lights.
- I bought it from a Dutch webshop, but I think it’s available on AliExpress too.
Important Note: This device only supports one zone, so if you have multiple zones, you’ll need more USB sticks. ![]()
I’ve also been experimenting with the new Counter and Input Text components in Home Assistant. They’re super handy for tracking things like plant watering schedules.
For example, I created a script that notifies me when three or more plants need watering. It’s made my plant care routine so much easier! ![]()
If you’re into DIY projects, my Govee lights have been perfect for creating fun outdoor displays.
I’ve been using them to set up a festive vibe for the upcoming holidays. It’s amazing how customizable they are! ![]()
Overall, my experience with Govee and the Gledopto bridge has been fantastic. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their smart lighting setup! ![]()
