My Govee RGBIC LED Strip Project and Tips for RGBW Connections

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent project with the Govee RGBIC LED Strip Light H6125. I’ve been experimenting with combining these strips with Govee recessed downlights, and the results are looking fantastic! I ordered some 3-pin extension cables to hook everything up, which has made it much easier to manage the wiring. I’ve been playing around with different setups, and I have to say, the color combinations are stunning. I’ve even started wrapping the boxes in white vinyl to give them a polished finish. If anyone has tips for optimizing the spacing between the ceiling and the boxes, I’d love to hear them!

Now, onto a question I’ve been pondering. I recently received some RGBW LED strips with 5 wires, but my H801 controller only has 4 ports. I’m assuming the wires are RGB plus two for power, but I’m not entirely sure. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or tutorial that could help me figure out the correct connections? I’d really appreciate it if someone could guide me on how to connect the H801 to both the LED strips and the power supply. Once I get this sorted, I plan to share some photos of my finished project!

Another thing I’ve been thinking about is the ability to set light schedules for Bluetooth lights, similar to how it’s done for Wi-Fi lights. It would be awesome to have that feature. If anyone knows of any workarounds or upcoming updates, please let me know!

Overall, I’m really enjoying experimenting with different lighting setups and seeing what others come up with. The possibilities are endless, and it’s so satisfying to see everything come together. I can’t wait to show off the final results of my project! Thanks for reading, and happy tinkering! :star2:
