I’ve been on a bit of a journey trying to integrate my Google Home devices, specifically my smart blinds, into Hubitat. At first, it felt a bit overwhelming. I came across some solutions involving RF learners and Hubitat integration, but honestly, it seemed a bit too complicated for my current setup. I kept thinking, There must be a simpler way!
Then, I stumbled upon the idea of importing Google Home devices directly into Hubitat. The thought of being able to control everything from one dashboard was incredibly appealing. I decided to give it a shot. After a bit of research and some trial and error, I managed to set it up! Now, I have dimmer switches right on my Hubitat dashboard, and controlling my blinds has never been easier.
This experience has really shown me the power of integrating different ecosystems. It’s amazing how much smoother things can run when everything is connected under one roof. I’m already brainstorming other devices I can integrate next!
