I just wanted to share my recent project with my new smart lighting setup. I’ve been diving into the world of RGBIC lights and it’s been a fantastic journey so far. I recently purchased two Govee H6146 RGBIC lights and I’m absolutely thrilled with how they’ve transformed my space. 
At first, I was a bit confused because my first strip had so many scene modes and tabs, while the second one seemed to have fewer options. After some research and tinkering, I realized it was all about how I set them up! Now, I’ve got them configured to work seamlessly with my voice commands and routines. It’s amazing how customizable they are. I can switch between different colors and effects with ease, which really enhances the ambiance of my room. 
I’ve also been exploring how to integrate these lights with my other smart devices. Using the Govee app, I’ve been able to create some really cool scenes that automatically adjust the lighting based on my activities. For example, when I’m gaming, the lights dim to a darker setting to reduce glare, and when it’s movie night, they switch to a warm, cozy glow. 
It’s all about creating the perfect atmosphere for whatever I’m doing.
One thing I’m still experimenting with is the scheduling feature. I love how I can set the lights to turn on or off at specific times, but I’m curious if there’s a way to make them adapt even more dynamically based on external factors like the time of day or my location. I’ve heard that integrating with other smart home hubs like Hubitat could open up even more possibilities, so that’s something I’m looking into next.
Overall, I’m really happy with how my smart lighting setup has come together. It’s not just about the lights themselves, but the entire ecosystem of apps, routines, and integrations that make it so versatile. I can’t wait to see how much further I can take this project!
