My Recent Zigbee and DIY Smart Home Projects

Hi everyone, I wanted to share some of my recent smart home projects and experiences. I’ve been really diving into the world of Zigbee devices and DIY projects lately, and I’m absolutely loving the results!

First off, I’ve been experimenting with expanding my Zigbee network. Currently, I have 69 Zigbee devices connected to my Homey Pro 2019, with 18 routers acting as repeaters. It’s been a great setup so far, and I haven’t experienced any issues with connectivity or performance. I’m thinking of adding a few more devices soon, especially some battery-operated sensors to cover more areas of my home.

On the DIY front, I’ve been working on some fun projects to get ready for the holidays. I’ve been inspired by the amazing Halloween DIYs shared by the community, and I’ve been experimenting with different lighting setups using my Govee products. I’ve also been working on creating some custom scenes using my Shelly devices, which has been a great learning experience.

One thing I’ve been curious about is the upcoming Govee Sync feature. I’ve heard some rumors about it, but I’m not entirely sure how it will work. Has anyone here gotten any information or updates on this? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I’ve also been exploring different ways to integrate my smart home devices with my routines. For example, I’ve been using my IQ2+ panel to act as a gateway for my Liftmaster MyQ devices. It’s been a bit of a challenge figuring out the right settings, but I’m slowly getting the hang of it.

Overall, I’m really enjoying the journey of building out my smart home. It’s been a great way to learn new skills and get creative with technology. I’d love to hear about your recent projects and experiences as well!

Happy smart home tinkering everyone! :rocket:
