Hello everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Govee lights into my smart home setup. It’s been an exciting journey, and I’ve learned a few things along the way that I’d love to share.
I started by experimenting with the Govee Glide series, which I’ve heard great things about. Setting them up was straightforward, but I quickly realized the potential for customization. I’ve been using Hubitat as my smart home platform, and it’s been fantastic to see how seamlessly Govee integrates with it. I even managed to create a rule that adjusts the light colors based on the time of day, which adds a nice touch of automation to my evenings.
One thing I struggled with initially was ensuring consistent brightness across all my lights. After some research and trial and error, I found that adjusting the color temperature settings made a huge difference. Now, my living room feels warm and inviting in the evenings and bright and energizing during the day.
