Hi everyone, I recently installed the MyQ Garage Door system and paired it with my alarm.com account, door sensor, and Genie opener. Everything seems to work perfectly for opening and checking the status, but I’m facing some issues with closing. Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn’t. I’ve tried both the alarm.com web portal and the iPhone app, but the problem persists. I even received this message: “We are still awaiting confirmation from your system that your remote command has taken effect. Please check back (or refresh the page) in a few minutes to make sure your doors are in the desired state.” Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I’d really appreciate some help!
On a different note, I’ve been experimenting with setting up some automation rules for my garage lights. I want them to turn on when the garage door opens and stay on for about 15 minutes unless motion is detected. I’ve tried using the rule machine, but I’m not quite getting it right. Does anyone have a good template or example they could share? I’d love to get this sorted out!
