Mystifying Smart Plug Auto-Activation: Seeking Solutions

I’m currently puzzled by an issue with my TP-Link Smart Plugs. Every day at 5:30 PM, they turn on automatically, despite no scheduled routines in Kasa, Alexa, or Home Assistant. This is particularly vexing since these plugs control my Christmas lights, which I’ve decommissioned for the past year. What’s intriguing is that one of the four HS103 plugs doesn’t exhibit this behavior, suggesting it might not be a universal firmware issue. I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps: resetting the plugs, reinstalling the Home Assistant integration, and even factory resetting them. The logs show state changes without any identifiable trigger, which is perplexing. I suspect it might be related to an old automation or leftover configuration from when I first set them up using Simple Scheduler. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has insights into what might be causing this, I’d be grateful for any suggestions. The goal is to restore normal control without having to constantly monitor these plugs. Any advice on how to identify or eliminate the unknown trigger would be invaluable.
