I’ve been using my Nest Hub Max for years to display a specific Google Photos album in the frame mode, and it’s always worked perfectly. However, recently, without any changes on my end, the device started showing art gallery pictures instead of the album I carefully selected. This is quite frustrating because I rely on it to display family photos and memories.
I’ve tried switching to a different album, and it works fine, but my preferred album seems to ‘break’ the photo frame feature. The Nest Hub Max shows the correct settings for Google Photos, but it still defaults to the art gallery. I’ve also checked the album permissions and verified that it’s shared correctly with Google Photos. Everything seems to be in order, which makes this issue even more puzzling.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Did you manage to resolve it? Any advice or workaround would be greatly appreciated. I’m hoping there’s a setting I might have overlooked or a temporary glitch that can be fixed. Thanks in advance for your help!
