Nest Thermostat Issue: Warm Air When Cooling

Hi everyone, I’ve been using two Nest Learning Thermostats for years now, and they’ve been fantastic. One is upstairs, and one is downstairs. I’ve named them “Up” and “Down” for simplicity. Everything worked perfectly until yesterday when I decided to run the AC. After a few minutes, the thermostat started blowing warm air instead of cool. I was a bit confused, so I decided to swap the two thermostats to see if the issue was with the unit or the setup.

I moved the “Up” thermostat downstairs and the “Down” thermostat upstairs. The “Up” thermostat worked perfectly downstairs, but when I connected the “Down” thermostat upstairs, it started blowing warm air again when I set it to cool. I’m not sure what’s going on here. Is there something I need to reset or recalibrate? I’d really appreciate any advice or insights you might have. Thanks in advance for your help!
