Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to seek some assistance with two separate but equally puzzling issues related to my smart thermostats. First, I’ve been having trouble with my Nest Thermostat. After pressing it for 10 seconds to reset it, it now asks for a PIN that I don’t have. I’m stuck and would really appreciate any advice on how to resolve this. Is there a way to bypass the PIN or reset it without losing all my settings? Moving on to my Wyze Thermostat, I’ve noticed an unusual behavior. Whenever the heat kicks in, the AC also starts running. This wasn’t happening with my old thermostat, and I’m wondering if this is because I now have a heat pump. I followed the instructions and used the C-Adapter, but I still can’t figure out why the AC is running alongside the heat. I did notice that there were two wires on the Y terminal on the furnace, so I connected both to the C-Adapter. Could this be causing the issue? Additionally, I’ve been trying to set up my Konnected board with temperature probes, but they aren’t showing up in the devices list. The alarm points work fine, and the wiring seems correct, but the probes remain elusive. I’ve reached out to Konnected support, but no resolution yet. Any insights from the community would be invaluable. I’m also curious about the integration of the Nest x Yale Smart Lock into Home Assistant. Has anyone successfully connected theirs? I’m planning to install it soon and want to make sure everything is compatible. Lastly, I’m looking for recommendations on affordable smart lights that can be controlled via Google Home without relying on a hub. My Sengled lights have been offline for a while, and I’m concerned about their reliability. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance for your help and insights. It’s amazing how supportive this community is, and I’m grateful for everyone’s expertise!
