Hi everyone, I’m new to the world of home automation and I’ve been trying to set up my Netatmo doorbell to display live video on my wall tablet. It’s been a bit of a challenge, but I’m determined to figure it out! Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
-
Doorbell Integration: I’ve successfully integrated the doorbell into my home automation system. It shows up in the dashboard, but the video feed is delayed and more like a still image rather than smooth live video. I really want to see real-time movement when someone is at the door!
-
Netatmo API Setup: I’ve set up the Netatmo API account and got the client ID and other necessary details. Everything seems to be in order there.
-
WebRTC Installation: I installed WebRTC hoping it would solve the live video issue, but it didn’t work out. I think the problem might be with the URL configuration—I’m not sure which URL to use here. Any guidance on this would be super helpful!
-
Browser Mod and Automation: I tried using the browser mod along with an automation event, but that didn’t work either. I ended up with an error in the YAML code, which I’m still struggling to fix.
I’ve been searching for solutions online and in forums, but nothing seems to quite fit my setup. If anyone has successfully integrated live video from their Netatmo doorbell, I would be incredibly grateful for any tips or step-by-step instructions. This would really complete my smart home setup!
Looking forward to hearing from you all. Thanks in advance for your help! ![]()
