Hello everyone, I’m facing an issue with my Netatmo outdoor cameras in Home Assistant. I’ve had them integrated for a couple of months now, and everything was working (kind of) fine until about two to three weeks ago. Now, the cameras work for a couple of hours, and then they suddenly stop updating. When I open the stream, they just show the same scene over and over again.
I’ve noticed that restarting Home Assistant temporarily fixes the problem, but it comes back after a couple of hours. From the Netatmo app, the cameras are working perfectly, so it’s definitely something on the Home Assistant side. I haven’t made any changes to my configuration files, so I’m a bit puzzled.
The issue first appeared when I updated Home Assistant to version 2021.12.5 or 2021.12.6, but rolling back to an earlier version where the cameras were working didn’t solve the problem. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there’s a known fix.
