I just got this camera a few days ago, and I’m absolutely impressed with its build quality and features. However, there’s this persistent issue with the battery that’s got me a bit puzzled.
So, I set up the camera following the instructions, and everything seemed to be going smoothly at first. But after about 24 hours of charging, the app still shows the battery at 0%. The blue light on the camera does come on when I plug it in, so I know it’s getting power. I’ve tried charging it in different outlets around the house, just to rule out any electrical issues, but nothing seems to change. It’s a bit frustrating because I was really looking forward to setting this up as part of my home security system.
I reached out to Arlo support, but honestly, their response wasn’t very helpful. They couldn’t even get the model right when I mentioned it, which is a bit concerning. I’m hoping the community here might have some insights or tips on how to resolve this. Maybe there’s a trick or a setting I’m missing that could help the battery charge properly.
On a positive note, the camera itself seems to be working flawlessly once it’s powered on. The video quality is stunning, and the integration with my existing smart home setup has been seamless.
