Hi everyone! I’m really excited about the upcoming release of the QingPing Motion and Light Sensor! I’ve been following their products for a while now, and this one seems like a game-changer. The fact that it’s both a motion sensor and an ambient light sensor is super convenient, especially for automating my home setup. I can’t wait to use it in my living room to adjust the lighting based on natural light levels and detect motion for security purposes. The magnetic ball joint and adhesive patch for mounting sound so easy to use, which is a big plus for me since I’m not the most tech-savvy person. I’m also really looking forward to the Thread connectivity mentioned in the FCC listing. I’ve heard great things about Thread for its reliability and energy efficiency, so I’m hopeful this sensor will integrate seamlessly with my existing smart home ecosystem. I’m curious to see if the Nordic nRF52840 chip they’re using will support the latest updates without any issues.
