Hey Aqara, can we have a “simple loud indoor siren” in Zigbee/Thread connection？
No door/motion/water… sensor. Just a simple stuff which can let me connect to my camera, door sensor, leak sensor…etc to keep my home security.
Anyone have the same idea like me？

An Aqara hub you may already have can make loud noises. I have reminders that play on my M3 hub. There are built in ringtones or you can upload MP3 files to the custom audio library of the hub. I have laundry reminders that play at only 1% volume and they are loud enough.
I’m not familiar with other Aqara hubs, but check your particular hub if you own one.
You could use a smart plug that turns on a real siren. Smart plugs are great for turning “dumb” devices into “smart” ones.
If you’ve yet to incorporate some smart plugs with power monitoring into your smart home, you can build some clever automations into normal everyday actions. I put my phone in it’s bedside charge cradle and the power use triggers a number of nighttime automations.
Aqara have smart plugs in many regions but currently not the UK, in which case the Meross Matter over WiFi plug or IKEA Grillplats Matter over Thread plugs work well for me with the Aqara M3 hub.
I’d rather wait for Matter to add audio Matter casting support and then have Aqara be one of the first to support that. A pure siren would be too limited for my needs
Well I wish to see an Aqara Rain sensor designed specifically for rain and my be snow.i know right now I can implement an Aqara water leak sensor for that matter but to make it the way I want I need to print an case and buy an sensor plate for it.

-Aqara Deshumifier
-Aqara Portal Opener(like ring intercom)
All this devices will be nice to see them made by aqara and integrate them on aqara app and even HomeKit.right now Xiaomi have this but they are WiFi and I am not so sure why Xiaomi doesn’t make them HomeKit compatible too.not to mention that Ring is not HomeKit compatible ether.
