Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Cam Pam, which I recently purchased. At first glance, it seemed like a great addition to my smart home setup. The live view is crisp and clear, and I was really excited to start using it for monitoring my home. However, I’ve encountered a few issues that are quite puzzling and frustrating.
First off, the camera isn’t recording anything. I’ve checked all the settings, and notifications are enabled on both my iPhone and the Wyze app. I’ve also performed a factory reset and updated the firmware to the latest version, but the problem persists. It’s strange because I saw solutions online suggesting rolling back to older software, but I can’t believe that’s still the case after all this time.
Another thing I noticed is that the camera doesn’t send any notifications. This is a significant concern because one of the main reasons I bought it was for its security features. I’ve tried troubleshooting by resetting the router and ensuring the camera has a strong Wi-Fi connection, but nothing seems to work.
I’m hoping someone in the community might have encountered a similar issue and could offer some advice. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a workaround that I haven’t tried yet. I’m really curious to get this camera up and running properly, as it has so much potential.
