Hello, welcome to the forum. First of all, check if the M2 gateway has the latest firmware (4.5.30). Then in the lock settings, use this window for configuration.

Hi , you need a Matter hub from Aqara (M3 , M200, M100)
The M2 won’t work with U200 - it’s a pure zigbee hub

@DEChrisE DEChrisE is on the right track: the U200 is a Matter lock, and to get the “full Aqara experience” (binding in Aqara Home, automations, remote lock/unlock, etc.) you’ll want to bind it to an Aqara Matter hub like the M3 (or another Aqara hub that supports Matter Controller). If you already have the lock added in Aqara Home and want it to become a child device of an M3, you can do it from the lock’s settings page:
- Open Aqara Home
- Make sure Bluetooth is on and your phone is online
- Go to U200 → Settings, scroll to Aqara Matter Controller, and bind it to the hub (the guide notes connecting to an Aqara hub from there, and that your phone Wi‑Fi should match the hub’s network). Hi @DEChrisE, yes you are right M2 is Matter Border and M3 (G5) has Thread Border Router. With M100 in some cases there are problems with this issue.

I don’t had any issues with M100 too! Just set up a new home for a friend with U200 and M100 @gafich10 . No issues, no troubles

I don’t have an M100, but it’s often mentioned on forums. Maybe they fixed the bug for communication with the U200. Thanks for sharing the information about your M100.

Cześć. Zamek U200 powinien dać się dodać do aplikacji nawet jeśli nie masz huba - łączy się przez bluetooth z telefonem.
Dodatkowe funkcje (np automatyzacje, zdalne nadawanie kodów dostępow) wymagają huba Matter, tak jak napisał bot oraz koledzy. Ale najpierw musisz dodać zamek do aplikacji - a w Twoim przypadku jest błąd.
W FAQ jest też napisane, że hub Matter jest niewymagany.
Z tego co czytałem na forum to ludzie z tym kodem błędu (10024) byli w stanie dodać urządzenie do aplikacji po resecie urządzenia.
Sprobuj zresetować zamek przytrzymując kłódkę i „ok” na klawiaturze przez 3 sekundy. Jeżeli zamek wcześniej do kogoś należał, usłyszysz komunikat proszący o zeskanowanie palca administratora. Jeśli to nowy zamek, to powinien zresetować się bez tego komunikatu.
You need the hub, but the lock connects to the app via bluetooth. As far as I understand the problem of the OP is that he cannot add the lock to the app, which should succeed even if he doesn’t own a hub.
