Hey everyone, I recently installed the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 and it’s been a game-changer for my home security setup. One feature I’ve been really excited about is the Auto Unlock functionality, especially since I’m a frequent runner. I often go out for runs with just my smartwatch, relying on Nuki to keep my home secure. However, when I return home, I still have to manually unlock the door using the Nuki app on my watch, which adds a bit of inconvenience to my routine.
Since Auto Unlock works via Bluetooth, I believe it should be able to detect my watch approaching the door and unlock automatically, just like it does with my smartphone. This would make my post-run routine even smoother!
I imagine the ideal setup would be: the door locks automatically when I leave for my run, unlocks as I approach the door upon return, and maybe even opens automatically if I’m carrying my keys. It would save me the hassle of pulling out my phone or fumbling with the app on my watch.
Has anyone else encountered this limitation? I’d love to hear if there are any workarounds or if this feature is something others are also hoping to see in future updates. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences!
