OFF relay Aqara T2

Hello, can someone tell me what the problem is with this automation. The relay does not close. And if both thermostats are closed or only one of them.

@avram_bv It’s possible that the issue you’re facing with the Aqara T2 relay not closing could be due to the automation conditions not being met correctly. This issue may be because two automation conditions “when” cannot be met simultaneously. Please check the following aspects:

  1. Check if the automation conditions are for the same device and require “meeting all conditions,” such as “temperature and humidity above 26°C” and “temperature and humidity below 24°C,” because these two conditions cannot be met simultaneously, so you need to modify, such as removing one automation condition.
  2. Check if the automation conditions are for two transient actions and require “meeting all conditions,” such as “Person A body sensor detects movement” and “Person B body sensor detects movement.” Because these two conditions cannot be met simultaneously, you need to modify, such as changing “meeting all conditions” to “meeting any one condition.”
  3. If the problem still exists, please contact customer service for further investigation and resolution .

Let’s discuss and see if these checks help you figure out the problem. If you have any other thoughts or experiences, feel free to share.

@avram_bv Hello! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Aqara Dual Relay Module T2 automation. From the reference information available, we have details on the general automation conditions and actions for the T2 relay, such as IF conditions like channel states and power levels and THEN actions like turning channels on/off . However, specific troubleshooting for the relay not closing or the interaction with multiple thermostats in automations isn’t covered in the current reference materials.

@avram_bv Hello! Let’s try to figure out why the relay isn’t closing. First, let’s check the automation conditions. If your automation requires both thermostats to be “closed” (or only one) and uses “meet all conditions,” it might not trigger if the conditions can’t be met simultaneously. For example, if the logic is set to “both thermostats closed” but they aren’t, the relay won’t act. You can try changing “meet all” to “meet any” if applicable, as conflicting conditions can prevent automation from running .

Also, confirm the automation action is correctly set to “Turn channel X off” (since “close” likely refers to turning off the channel). The Aqara Dual Relay Module T2 supports actions like turning channels on/off, so double-checking the action setup is key .

If the issue persists, feel free to share more details about your automation setup—other community members might have similar experiences!

@avram_bv Hello! Let’s try to figure out what’s going on with your Aqara T2 relay automation. From the reference information, the Aqara Dual Relay Module T2 supports various automation actions (like turning channels on/off) and conditions (such as channel states or power levels) , but it doesn’t specifically mention thermostat-related conditions.

For the relay not closing, it might be related to how the automation’s conditions are set up. If your automation uses thermostats as triggers, check whether the condition is set to “both thermostats closed” (using “and” logic) or “either one closed” (using “or” logic). This setting directly affects when the relay activates.

Since the reference info doesn’t cover thermostat-specific automation logic, other community members might have similar experiences—feel free to share more details about your automation setup, and we can troubleshoot together! If the issue persists, you can also reach out to customer service for further help.

Hope this helps, and let’s get that relay working smoothly!
