Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to share an issue I’ve been having with my older Kwikset SmartCode Z-Wave lock. It’s been a reliable device for nearly nine years, but since I switched to using a C7 hub a few months ago, the batteries have been dying much faster than before. Previously, when it was paired with a Vera 2, the batteries lasted for many months, but now they’re down to 30% just two weeks after replacement. The lock is only used a couple of times a day via keypad, so the usage hasn’t changed significantly. I’m using the Generic Z-Wave Lock driver and the controller type is ZWV. I’ve checked the logs, but there’s nothing unusual showing up. The devices are in line of sight, so that shouldn’t be an issue. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems with their Z-Wave locks on a C7 hub or if there are any settings I can adjust to help with this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
