Hey everyone! I wanted to share a useful tip I discovered while using my Wyze Cam Outdoor cameras. I recently switched from using an Ethernet connection to relying solely on WiFi, but I noticed a significant drop in battery life—only lasting 2-3 days instead of the usual 2-3 months. After some experimentation, I reverted to the Ethernet connection, and the battery life improved dramatically. It seems the WiFi connection drains the battery much faster, possibly due to constant data transmission or signal searching. I’m now back to enjoying long battery life and reliable performance. If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, I’d recommend sticking with Ethernet for better results. Happy tinkering! ![]()
