Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with optimizing the ambient noise filtering on my new Pan Cam. While setting it up in my backyard, I noticed that the camera’s noise cancellation was a bit too aggressive compared to my Wyze Cam. The Pan Cam would cut out almost all background noise, making it difficult to detect softer sounds like birds or distant traffic.
After some research and experimentation, I found that adjusting the mic sensitivity settings made a significant difference. While there isn’t a direct slider for ambient noise cutoff, tweaking the mic settings and ensuring the camera is positioned away from direct wind helped balance the noise filtering.
I’d love to hear if others have found ways to customize this feature further or if there are any upcoming firmware updates that might offer more control. It’s been great seeing how the community shares tips and tricks for optimizing these devices! ![]()
