Hi everyone, I’m currently working on optimizing the configuration process for multiple devices in my smart home setup. I came across the question of whether it’s possible to export an existing Device DTM with all its Request Items, rename it, and then import it back into the project. The goal is to avoid manually configuring all requests for identical devices, which can be quite time-consuming. Ideally, this process would also create all the DDTs for the new device automatically.
I’ve been experimenting with different approaches and thought it would be helpful to share my findings. For instance, I found that using the Device DTM Export/Import feature can significantly streamline the setup process. However, I’m still exploring how to ensure that all configurations are correctly carried over without manual intervention.
