I’ve been exploring ways to streamline my device setup process in Hubitat, and I wanted to share my findings and ask if anyone has encountered similar experiences or has tips to share.
When adding a new device, I typically go through the discovery page, navigate to the device details, configure settings, and then assign it to a dashboard. However, I often find myself navigating through multiple menus to link the device to the desired dashboard. This got me wondering—is there a more efficient way to assign devices to dashboards during the setup process?
I’ve noticed that on the device details page, there’s a dropdown menu for selecting dashboards, which simplifies the process significantly. It would be fantastic if this feature were more prominently highlighted or if there were additional shortcuts to make the entire workflow smoother.
