I’ve recently embarked on a journey to upgrade my home heating system using HomeMatic IP, and it’s been an exciting yet challenging experience. After migrating from Fritzbox, I noticed a significant improvement in functionality and ease of use. Currently, I’ve installed two thermostats, window contacts, and a temperature regulator, which have already made a noticeable difference in how my home retains heat.However, I’ve encountered an issue with four radiators that aren’t positioned near windows. Despite setting schedules, the warm air doesn’t circulate effectively, leaving some areas colder than others. I’ve tried adjusting the thermostats and ensuring all windows are properly sealed, but the problem persists.I’m planning to invest in additional thermostats for each radiator to gain better control. While this might be a temporary solution, I’m hopeful it will help distribute heat more evenly. I’d love to hear from others who’ve faced similar challenges and how they resolved them. Whether it’s through smart thermostats, radiator covers, or other innovative solutions, I’m eager to explore all options to achieve optimal heating throughout my home.This experience has been a great learning curve, and I’m excited to continue refining my setup.
