I’ve been exploring how to make my home lighting more efficient and enjoyable using Home Assistant. One thing I’ve been particularly interested in is automating my lights based on the time of day and weather conditions. For instance, I want my hallway lights to dim slightly when it’s cloudy outside, but I’m not entirely sure how to set that up. Has anyone successfully integrated weather data into their lighting automation? I’d love to hear your tips or any challenges you’ve encountered. 
Speaking of lighting, I recently upgraded my kitchen with these amazing Govee RGBIC strips. They’ve completely transformed the space, especially during movie nights! It’s incredible how the right lighting can set the mood. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the lights don’t cycle through colors as smoothly as I’d like. Any advice on fine-tuning color transitions would be appreciated. 
Another project I’m working on is setting up my outdoor lights to turn on automatically when it gets dark, but only if I’m not home. This way, I can ensure my place stays secure without wasting energy when I’m out. I’ve heard about using geofencing for this, but I’m not entirely sure how to configure it. If anyone has experience with geofencing and outdoor lighting, I’d be grateful for some guidance. 
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with creating custom scenes for different times of the day. For example, a relaxing evening scene with softer tones and a vibrant daytime scene with cooler hues. It’s been a fun way to personalize my space. I’d love to hear how others are using automation to enhance their daily routines.
