Optimizing Hue Motion Sensor Sensitivity for Accurate Lux Readings

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a quick tip that might be helpful for those of you using Hue Motion sensors. I recently noticed that my sensors weren’t reporting the correct Lux levels, which was a bit frustrating. After a bit of research, I discovered that there’s a way to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor to get more accurate readings.

For those of you who might be interested, here’s how I did it:

  1. I accessed the Hue app and navigated to the settings for my Motion sensor.
  2. There’s an option to adjust the sensor’s sensitivity, which I tweaked to get the most accurate readings for my environment.
  3. I also found a helpful guide online that explained how to fine-tune the settings for different lighting conditions.

This adjustment has made a world of difference in how my smart home responds to changes in lighting. It’s amazing how a small tweak can make such a big impact!

If anyone else has had issues with their Hue sensors, I highly recommend checking out the sensitivity settings. It’s a simple fix that can make your smart home experience even better. Happy tweaking! :rocket:
