Optimizing HVAC Efficiency with Smart Thermostats

I’ve been working on integrating my HVAC system with smart technology to enhance efficiency and comfort. My setup includes a Tado Smart Thermostat controlling both my floor heating and air conditioning. While the AC is more energy-efficient, I’ve noticed that the floor feels cold once the heating turns off, which isn’t ideal, especially during colder months.

I’ve been experimenting with scheduling the floor heating to run during specific times while relying mainly on the AC for overall heating. This approach seems promising, but I’m curious if there are more advanced settings or configurations within the Tado system that could help optimize this balance.

Has anyone else tackled a similar challenge? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have for maximizing comfort while maintaining energy efficiency. Let’s discuss how we can make the most out of our smart thermostats!
