Optimizing Samsung Dex Mode for Document Reading

I’ve been exploring the Samsung Dex mode on my S7+ and it’s been a game-changer for productivity. The large screen is fantastic, especially for multitasking. However, I noticed that Dex mode defaults to landscape orientation, which can be a bit cumbersome when reading documents. I found myself frequently switching back to the classic Android mode just to get a portrait view, but that meant losing the Dex session entirely—a bit frustrating. After some experimentation, I discovered a workaround. By adjusting the phone’s physical orientation while in Dex mode, I can simulate a portrait view without exiting Dex. It’s not perfect, but it’s a decent compromise until Samsung introduces a more seamless orientation switch feature. I’d love to hear if others have found better solutions or if there’s an official update in the works to address this.If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing Dex mode, especially for document-heavy tasks, I’d be thrilled to hear them! Let’s keep the discussion going and help each other make the most out of this awesome feature.
