Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with optimizing energy usage using smart plugs. I recently installed a set of Smart Sockets A7Z to monitor and control my home’s energy consumption. While most of them worked perfectly out of the box, I encountered an issue where only 9 out of 11 sockets were reading energy data correctly through the Energy tab in the mobile app. Going directly to the socket settings, however, everything seemed fine. This was a bit puzzling, but I decided to dig deeper and see if I could resolve it.
After some research and trial and error, I found that resetting the problematic sockets and ensuring they were properly paired with the hub made a significant difference. It’s amazing how a simple reset can sometimes solve issues that seem complex at first glance. I also discovered that using the app’s advanced settings to customize energy monitoring thresholds helped me get a clearer picture of my energy usage patterns.
