Optimizing SPA Operation with Weather Data

Hi everyone! I’m really excited to share an idea I’ve been brainstorming about optimizing my SPA’s operating times using weather data. I’m hoping to make my SPA more energy-efficient and user-friendly by automating its operation based on the weather forecast. :sun_with_face:Here’s the plan: I want to create a system where the SPA turns on automatically during the day when the outside temperature is above a certain threshold, say 20°C, and only runs for a specific duration. If the forecast predicts a cooler day, I’d like the SPA to adjust its running time accordingly, maybe only operating during peak usage hours to save energy. :brain:The ultimate goal is to integrate this system with my pump, so the SPA temperature is set automatically, and the heater only kicks in on good weather days. This could save a lot of energy and make maintaining the SPA much easier! :bulb:Now, the big question: How do I pull weather data into my LUA code to make this happen? I’ve done some research, but I’m not entirely sure where to start. Any tips or resources would be greatly appreciated! :pray:I’m really looking forward to hearing your thoughts and seeing if anyone else has tackled a similar project. Let’s brainstorm together! :rocket:
