I’ve been contemplating moving my thermostat to enhance overall home comfort, especially given the inconsistent temperatures between floors. My current setup places the thermostat in an office that’s constantly generating heat from two desktops and several laptops, which keeps the AC running longer than necessary during the summer. This not only affects energy efficiency but also leads to the second floor being overly hot in summer and too cold in winter.
After researching potential locations, I identified a spot near the kitchen as a possible alternative. However, I’m concerned it might be too close to the kitchen’s heat sources.
