I recently installed an outdoor Z-Wave switch to control my Christmas lights, and I’ve been encountering some mesh routing issues. The device is paired with my hub via the S2 authenticated protocol, but establishing a reliable connection has been a challenge. The hub seems to prefer a direct connection, which isn’t ideal given its location in a server closet. I’ve tried several zwave repairs and ensured all nearby devices are active repeaters, but the issue persists. I wonder if anyone has experienced similar problems or has tips for forcing the hub to create a mesh route with nearby repeaters. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
