I’ve been experimenting with optimizing battery life for my Zigbee motion sensors, and I thought I’d share my findings. I’ve noticed that while the CR2477 batteries are reliable, they drain faster than I’d like. After some research, I discovered that adjusting the polling frequency and using manual checks can significantly extend battery life.
