Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze App 3.0 update, particularly regarding the devices section. I’ve been using Wyze for a while now, and I must say, the new app has brought some much-needed improvements. However, there’s one feature that’s been quite the frustration for me and others in my family—organizing cameras and the loss of thumbnails.I’ve always appreciated having thumbnails for each camera because they made it so much easier to navigate and select the right camera quickly. With around 20 cameras and various other devices, scrolling through a list of names just doesn’t cut it for me. It’s disorganized, and it takes away the convenience that Wyze cameras are known for.The issue of the devices list resetting and mixing everything up is really annoying. I understand that the new app has favorites to help with this, but with so many devices, it’s not the most efficient solution for me. I’ve tried reaching out to support, but I wanted to share what I’ve found in the meantime. After some trial and error, I discovered a workaround that helps me keep things organized. I use the search function to quickly find specific cameras, and I’ve started labeling my cameras with more descriptive names. For example, instead of just “Camera 1,” I now have “Front Door Camera” or “Backyard Camera.” This makes it easier to find what I’m looking for without the thumbnails.I’ve also been experimenting with grouping devices into different categories within the app. While it’s not perfect, it does help a bit in keeping things tidy. I’m hopeful that Wyze will bring back the thumbnails in a future update, as I believe they add significant value to the user experience. In the meantime, if anyone has tips or tricks for organizing devices in the new app, I’d love to hear them! Let’s share our solutions and make the most out of this great platform despite the minor hiccups.Cheers, [Your Name] ![]()
