Hi everyone, I’m looking for some guidance on setting up a security camera at our family cabin. The location is pretty remote, and getting reliable internet there has been a challenge. I’ve been told the outdoor camera’s base station only works with an Ethernet connection, but I don’t have that option here. However, I do have an old phone that can act as a hotspot, and it gets a strong signal in that area.
I’ve heard that there are devices that can convert a hotspot into an Ethernet connection, but I’m not sure which one to use. I’ve tried searching online, but there are so many options, and I don’t want to buy the wrong thing. Has anyone here successfully done something similar? What device did you use, and was the setup straightforward? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
