Outdoor Camera Issues: Seeking Solutions and Experiences

I’ve been using Wyze outdoor cameras for about six months now, and they’ve been a great addition to my home security setup. However, one of my cameras has started acting up recently, and I’m hoping the community can offer some insights or solutions.

The issue is that one of my Wyze outdoor cameras is constantly taking videos and sending alerts every five minutes, even when there’s no motion detected. I initially thought it might be a low battery issue, so I fully charged it. But the problem persisted even after replacing the battery. I’ve placed the camera in a quiet room with no activity, yet it still alerts every five minutes. I’m starting to wonder if the camera might be faulty or if there’s a setting I’m missing.

In the meantime, I’ll continue to monitor the camera’s behavior and try resetting it to factory settings. I’m hopeful that with a bit of trial and error, I can get this camera back to working as intended.
