Hi everyone, I’ve been experiencing some puzzling connectivity issues with my outdoor cameras, and I’m hoping someone here might have some insights or solutions. I’ve been using these cameras for over a year now, and they’ve been working perfectly until recently.
So, the setup is pretty straightforward: all cameras are the same distance from the Sync module. I have two XT cameras installed in different spots outdoors. The problem is that these cameras sometimes fail to load, and this can go on for days. Then, just as randomly, they start working again. I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps—fresh batteries, reboots on both the cameras and the modules—but nothing seems to help. It’s really odd because, as I mentioned, they worked flawlessly for over a year.
I’ve also checked for any firmware updates and made sure the sync module is up to date. The issue doesn’t seem to be related to the network either, as other devices connected to the same network are working fine. I’m starting to wonder if there’s something environmental affecting the cameras, but I’m not sure what that could be.
Has anyone else encountered similar problems? I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a specific troubleshooting step I haven’t tried yet. Thanks in advance for your help!
