Outdoor Lighting Automation with Govee and Google Home 
Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience setting up outdoor lighting automation using Govee LED strips and Google Home. It’s been a game-changer for my home security and ambiance! 
The Setup:
I’ve installed Govee outdoor bulb strips around my backyard and front porch. They’re weatherproof and super easy to set up. I paired them with Google Home to control everything hands-free. 
Automation Magic:
Using Google Home’s routines, I’ve programmed the lights to turn on automatically at sunset and off at sunrise. It’s simple but incredibly effective. Plus, I’ve set up motion sensors that trigger the lights to brighten when someone approaches. 
Tips for Others:
- Placement is Key: Make sure to position the lights to cover all entry points and pathways.
- Battery Life: These Govee strips have great battery life, but I recommend checking them every few months.
- Custom Scenes: Experiment with different brightness levels and color modes for different times of the day.
Unexpected Benefits:
I’ve noticed how much more secure my home feels with these lights. Plus, they’re perfect for outdoor gatherings—just set the mood with a quick voice command!
