Hey everyone! I’m currently exploring options for reliable outdoor motion sensors and wanted to share my experiences and gather your insights.
I’ve been using the Aeon MultiSensor and Ecolink Z-Wave units, but both have been quite problematic, especially during sunny days. They tend to trigger false alarms excessively, which is quite frustrating. At night or on cloudy days, they perform much better, but the daytime issues are a deal-breaker for me.
I’m curious if anyone has found a more reliable outdoor motion sensor that doesn’t struggle with sunlight interference. Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
