Just wondering if Aqara will be launching any outdoor products, weather sensors, plugs/sockets ect. If anyone has any ideas please let me know,

Yes, there are outdoor cameras (like the G5 and G100), doorbells, locks and multi state sensor P100 (it can be used with an included case).
The LED Strip is also IP44 rated, so it can be used outdoors if you hide/weatherproof the driver.
There is an ongoing beta program for an outdoor EU smart plug, so it will be probably released in less than a year.

Hi @christopher1 - I also asked Aqara for ages for outdoor devices! And the last time there’s more and more movement that way as @cezary806 mentioned above! And I’m pretty sure that we will hear more in future!

As cezary806 already mentioned, some sensors can also be used outdoors if you protect them from moisture and rain.
I use the Temperature and Humidity Sensor on my balcony myself, and it has been working very well for over a year. The temperature reading from the sensor is the same as that from my old thermometer. I bought a waterproof box on eBay for €3. The batteries discharge faster than the sensors in the apartment. But so far, the battery has lasted for over a year.

yes me too! And I like such hacks… if you have a 3d printer, there are lots of ideas available for usecases
